Terms and Conditions

Welcome to IZE POS (“IZE POS,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the IZE POS website, applications, and services.

By accessing or using IZE POS, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

“Platform” means the IZE POS website, software, and related services.
“Store” means any business or organization registered on IZE POS.
“User” means any individual authorized to access a Store’s account.
“Subscription” means the paid plan that allows continued access to IZE POS.
“Free Trial” means the complimentary thirty (30) day access period provided to newly registered Stores.

2. Eligibility

To use IZE POS, you must:

Be at least 18 years old.
Have the legal authority to register and operate on behalf of your business.
Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration information.

3. Account Registration

Each Store must register an account before using the Platform.

Registration may require:

Store Name
Business Address
Email Address
Phone Number

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities carried out under your account.

4. Free 30-Day Trial

Every newly registered Store receives a FREE thirty (30) day trial of IZE POS.

During the trial period:

You may access the features available under your selected plan.
No long-term commitment is required.
You can evaluate the platform before subscribing.

At the end of the thirty (30) day trial period, your Store must subscribe to an active paid plan to continue using IZE POS.

5. Subscription and Renewal

Continued access to IZE POS requires an active subscription.

Subscription plans may be offered on a:

Monthly basis
Quarterly basis
Annual basis
Or any other billing cycle introduced by IZE POS.

Subscription fees must be paid before the renewal date to avoid interruption of service.

6. Account Suspension for Non-Renewal

If your subscription expires and is not renewed after the free trial or any paid subscription period:

Your Store account may be automatically suspended.
Users will no longer be able to log in.
Access to sales records, inventory, reports, and other business data may be temporarily restricted until your subscription is renewed.

Once payment is received, IZE POS may reactivate your account, subject to verification.

7. Account Deletion After Extended Non-Renewal

If a suspended account remains unpaid for a continuous period of at least sixty (60) days after suspension, IZE POS reserves the right to permanently delete the Store account and all associated data.

This may include, but is not limited to:

Products
Inventory Records
Sales Transactions
Purchase Records
Customer Information
Supplier Information
Expense Records
Employee Records
Reports
Uploaded Documents
Other business information stored within the Platform.

Once an account has been permanently deleted, recovery of the data may not be possible.

We strongly recommend that all Stores maintain their own backups of important business information.

8. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

Provide accurate information.
Protect login credentials.
Ensure only authorized persons access the account.
Use the Platform in compliance with applicable laws.
Maintain backups of important business records.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use IZE POS for illegal or fraudulent activities.
Attempt unauthorized access to the Platform.
Upload malicious software or harmful code.
Interfere with the security or operation of the Platform.
Copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the software.

10. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all business information entered into IZE POS.

This includes:

Inventory
Sales Records
Customer Data
Supplier Data
Reports
Financial Records
Business Documents

IZE POS does not claim ownership of your business data.

11. Intellectual Property

All software, trademarks, logos, graphics, documentation, and other intellectual property relating to IZE POS remain the exclusive property of IZE POS and its licensors.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or modified without prior written permission.

12. Service Availability

While we strive to provide uninterrupted service, IZE POS does not guarantee:

Continuous availability.
Error-free operation.
Uninterrupted access.

Scheduled maintenance, software updates, and unforeseen technical issues may occasionally affect service availability.

13. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

Secure SSL/TLS encryption
Password hashing
Role-based access controls
Secure authentication
Activity logging
Database protection

Despite these measures, no online system can guarantee complete security.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IZE POS shall not be liable for:

Loss of profits
Loss of revenue
Business interruption
Loss of data
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.

15. Termination

IZE POS reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account if:

These Terms are violated.
Fraudulent or unlawful activity is detected.
The Platform is misused.
Subscription obligations are not met.

16. Changes to the Platform

We may modify, enhance, or discontinue features and services at any time to improve the Platform.

Where appropriate, reasonable notice will be provided.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Updated versions will be published on our website and become effective immediately upon publication.

Your continued use of IZE POS constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
